The Fox God VTuber Climbing the Tower Chapter 39

Chapter 39

[Author: Renar]

[Title: Summary of Hajime’s Membership Stream]

Upon starting, they enter the contaminated zone of Geumcheon District.

It appears to be viewer participation (?) with four allies.

They display fighting moves like well-trained agents.

In the midst of it, Hajime is busy throwing potion bottles for support and giving orders.

Wakamo is defending with a shield and swinging a hammer.

Is this really a membership stream…?! I had no idea about VTubers!

I thought they only did things like bikinis, ASMR, adult streams, or concerts!

To think that this type of premium content exists!!!

– There’s no premium stream like this anywhere else.

– Some viewer participation content can only be done once in a lifetime.

– Wow, the graphics are so realistic.

– Korea really is a gaming powerhouse to be releasing something like this…

ㄴSo, when is this getting released?

ㄴIt seems like it’s already happening.

ㄴIt’s a broken character. Start over!!

– The user interactions are shockingly relatable.

ㄴDid they bring some Ghelbers along?

ㄴSpecial agent Ghelber? Now that’s something unusual.

– An open-world game where you have a mix of Climbers and soldiers with diverse jobs. How can I try it?

ㄴFirst, enlist in the military.

ㄴHaha LOLOL

– The people participating seem to have fun concepts… it is a concept, right…?

[Author: Buryuksu]

[Title: So They Call This a VTuber Stream?]

No, even with my eyes and ears covered, this doesn’t look like a VTuber stream!!

It honestly feels more like they’re filming a movie in real life!

It’s a VTuber with a survival expert concept, doing a “Seoul Recapture Operation”!

(gif of agents having an elegant tea time)

Huh? Or maybe not?

(gif of Hajime receiving snacks like a hamster from the agent)

Now that I look again, maybe it really is a VTuber stream.

The cheek-puffing quality is crazy… Haha…

– This guy’s brain is melting, what do we do?

– Our host is pushing their chest out thanks to the ammo belt, is this for real?

– Forget a bulletproof vest, this is natural bulletproof armor…

ㄴIt actually has the elasticity to withstand bullets.

ㄴPlease, just let me bury my face in it once and die.

– Haha, the atmosphere as they enter the base is hilarious.

–  Isn’t this made with a full 3D CG team or something…?

ㄴEven if it’s not, does it matter to us?

ㄴWe won’t meet the host anyway, so it’s fine if they’re a VTuber.

The premium stream available only to Hajime Ichigo’s subscribers, titled [『Battlefield: Seoul Recapture』 Chapter 1], of course, became a massive sensation.

While viewers couldn’t fully grasp what was happening, Ichigo’s friends—part of her fandom—kept chatting away as they waited for the video to start, cheering when they saw its length.

Many subscribers expressed disappointment that it was a recorded video. However, as they watched Ichigo’s serious expression while being briefed by her manager and seeing the navigation route displayed, they could only exclaim in amazement.

Wakamo, known for receiving government support and as the most successful Climber in Korea, earning huge sums, was also there.

Some viewers, marveling at the scale of the production, began to question if it could even be real.

– No matter how you look at it, this actually looks like Seoul…

– Even if 3D CG is good, could it really be this detailed…?

– That backlighting effect is killer, haha.

– And yet, the way they set up positions as soon as they enter—it feels so professional…

Since Wakamo Inarizushi always strives for realistic VTuber streams, it felt surreal—as if she was genuinely stepping into Seoul.

Much like players gathering to play an FPS game, they formed a group chat of collective monologues, though odd usernames floated above their heads, making it hard for viewers to focus. If this truly were a Seoul Recapture mission, then these people were risking their lives!!

The reactions were a mix of worry and excitement.

Some viewers assured themselves that Wakamo Inarizushi wouldn’t have created a concept like this thoughtlessly, asserting that the content came from a corporation. Meanwhile, others pondered how there could be usernames like “Dead Duck,” or comments about Unicorn partnerships.

– No other VTuber does a premium stream with viewer participation.

– A VTuber who stakes their life on viewer participation content.

– “Here to protect the maidenhood on behalf of the Unicorns.”

– With horns seemingly made of mithril… Nowadays, unicorns even carry guns.

– And what about Sikopi? Is the host’s acquaintance involved? Hahaha

– I think a police badge guy is mixed in there too.

– Look at that nun mark on their back, haha.

– Unicorn has Pia-chan on their chest.

– The roe deer lives on…!!

While they continued chatting and joking, their eyes were glued to the screen.

The screen displayed Ichigo’s map, showing how Seoul, once the capital of Korea, was now completely contaminated. Danger ratings popped up, and red dots representing enemies started appearing on the radar, visible only to her.

Ichigo took off her earpiece and fired her gun into the sky.

A flare lit up the dark sky.

Monsters swarmed from above the buildings, from within the alleys, and even burst out of manholes in the ground.

The sight of countless monsters from every direction, all rushing in to kill humans, left viewers dumbstruck.

– Holy sh*t!!!

– What the hell is all this???

– Now I see why no one enters Seoul.

– Are they really going to be okay?

– There are goblins and orcs; there’s just too much to keep track of.

– And those dwarves with tools, what’s up with them?

The drone’s perspective shifted upwards, capturing the spectacle as countless monsters poured in from all directions, leaving the viewers too stunned to keep chatting.

It had begun.

The agents unleashed their bullets toward the monster horde.

With Ichigo protected by four agents, she threw potion bottles to create a massive ice wall. She swung her arm, tossing potions like a circus performer hurling blades, causing them to shatter into various colors—monsters melted, froze, and burst into flames.

In one hand, she wielded a pistol, jumping up to shoot down monsters in mid-air.

– Wow!!!

– What are they driving?

The impact is just insane.

Chased by monsters, FOX Team sprinted down the glowing path guiding them.

Wakamo kicked a car blocking the subway entrance, launching it sky-high, and swung her hammer, smashing into monsters like they were cannonballs, shattering their formation. The audience cheered for her overwhelming strength.

As they descended below, the screen darkened like a horror game.

Following the agents who turned on their lights, Wakamo conjured an additional light source, and the agents delivered their lines.

– There’s absolutely zero tension here, man…

– Well, this is “content” for a VTuber, after all.

–  Absolutely not real, everyone got that?

–  Apocalypse survival experts really have it rough just making a living…

The audience’s tension was briefly eased by the agents’ relaxed attitude.

But then, Agent Dead Duck is suddenly snatched up by vines, disappearing upward. Despite clearly being attacked by a monster, Agent Ruri yells, “It’s natural causes!” leaving viewers speechless, their shock rendering them mute. A few viewers went too far with their comments and were banned from the chat.

“Breath attack! Dodge!!!”

Agent Ruri’s desperate shout as he dodges to another area alone, leaving behind a group struggling to survive, creates a heart-wrenching scene.

The remaining four members of FOX Team run with all their might along the route lit up as a guide toward the base.

Wakamo holds back the massive monster horde by sheer physical force, while her team shields her with bullet fire, ensuring she can regroup with them.

At last, as Wakamo withdraws and the door slams shut behind them, the message [Chapter 1 Clear!] appears on the screen.

– Did two people just die…?

– That was… staged, right?

– I’ve never seen someone die before…

Viewers were still vividly recalling the image of agents dragged away by vines or escaping into the darkness, their shock palpable, their words cautious.

“Hey.”

“Welcome, Leader.”

The two agents they thought had died were actually waiting at a tea table, greeting them with a casual “You’re late.”

“Die, you troll!”

Unicorn rushes over and kicks Ruri, who was enjoying his tea.

Dead Duck, greeting the group sheepishly, offers them some tea.

Together with Shikopi, Wakamo grumbles about the small-time VTubers.

Meanwhile, Ichigo puffs her cheeks as she receives snacks from the agent.

Afterward, FOX Team gathers as they swap out their weapons and armor with a suspicious merchant in a robe, rummaging through crates as if in a game, stocking up on supplies that fill up automatically.

“Let’s go, guys!” Ichigo’s signal to charge rings out, transitioning the screen. Beyond the shattered door, FOX Team raises their weapons and steps into the eerie darkness.

Following an unknown path along the tracks, they disappear.

– Damn, that was insane, hahaha!

– Masterpiece! This is made in Korea!!!

– Yes, this is VTubing. Even the rabbits approve.

– I can’t tell if it’s CG or reality, damn…

– Every line from the agents just destroys the atmosphere, haha.

– Meanwhile, the host doesn’t want to hear the truth about reincarnation…

– Living well with ASMR…

– Not reincarnation, more like “Nice to meet you” again, right?

It was inevitable that the community would be buzzing with excitement. Friends who subscribed late to Hajime Ichigo’s membership eagerly wandered through the community, asking when Chapter 2 would be released, sharing their thrill and dopamine rush with others.

Of course, only gifs were allowed by the rules, so the authentic gunfire sounds and the intense action scenes of special agents didn’t fully come through, but viewers gathered to get the full experience.

To witness the first massive content release by Wakamo Corporation!

※※※

“The planning goes up to here. There may be casualties, but— Yu Ying should know this. Let’s keep it a secret from Wakamo, alright?”

While climbing the Tower, Yu Ying assisted her manager and now found herself suddenly hearing about a major content plan.

She was aware of the suffering caused by the collapse of the Tower in China and how hard life was for those living in hiding there. She even understood the desire to reclaim that land. But to do so through a VTuber broadcast…

The concept of an apocalypse survival expert felt appropriate, something she could relate to.

Yu Ying had many thoughts.

The friends who liked her and praised her for studying hard, and Wakamo, who took care of her like a mother.

Yu Ying did not want her country to end up like the tragic disaster she experienced in China.

She wanted to elevate Wakamo to a position in Korea where no one could touch her. Although Wakamo could handle things alone, she didn’t want to just be on the receiving end.

With support from the Climber Association up to the 25th floor, she invested all her broadcast earnings to keep climbing steadily.

[Status Window]

[Climber: Yu Ying]

[Job: Junior Alchemist]

[Age: 17]

[Attributes]

Health: 100

Mana: 50

Strength: 10

Agility: 47

Endurance: 10

Intelligence: 32

Wisdom: 5

Charm: 1

Compared to before, her stats had improved tremendously.

Her agility alone had increased by 30.

From what she felt, what an Alchemist needed was 『Mobility』.

She had also acquired four skills: [Lethal Mutation], [Poison Resistance], [Human Anatomy Expert], and [Alchemy – Metal Transformation]. Additionally, she possessed the [Transmutation Synthesis Gloves] obtained from the Tower.

“Stay behind, Yu Ying is still here, so it’ll be… okay.”

Wakamo doesn’t like seeing people die.

Wakamo is a kind person.

She would never want to see her comrades die, even by accident.

Yu Ying might not know much about VTubers, but when she watches streams with Wakamo and they chat happily together, she feels happy too.

Just kill everything.

Anything dangerous needs to be shot down before it gets close.

Recalling her conversation with her manager, Ichigo raises her gun.

With a light shining through the darkness, they ascend to the surface, facing the monsters that reveal themselves.

Wakamo stands firm, taking long-range fire on her shield, while an agent counters magical attacks with grenades, and others cover them with a hail of bullets.

And charging through those bullets, the massive Thunderous Rage Rhino barrels toward them.

Ichigo slides under Wakamo’s legs, precisely throwing a [Potion of Decay] that lands under the beast.

While the agents provide cover fire with calm precision, Wakamo, though momentarily panicked, prepares to throw her hammer—only for a deafening explosion to break the beast’s legs as it collapses, melting from the decay potion’s effects.

[Alchemist] is a class with unparalleled control over its surroundings, more so than other classes.

“Jump!”

“It’s time to show off our amazing pirouettes.”

Ichigo freezes the road with a Rapid Freeze Potion and slides across it, with the agents quickly joining her. The sight of everyone striking elegant poses as they glided across the nearly frictionless road resembled a scene from a B-grade comedy movie.

“Pirouette~”

“Grand jeté~”

While three agents skillfully performed acrobatic moves, one agent somehow ended up as a human sled.

“I can’t activate Prostate Break!”

“What even is that?!”

Ichigo, who had inadvertently climbed onto the agent, asked him, but he couldn’t respond. The silence from Unicorn was promptly interrupted by other agents hitting him with their rifle stocks. Meanwhile, Wakamo, realizing the critical flaw of being unaffected by the Geocentric Coordinate System and therefore unable to slide, was left running a lonely marathon.

“Don’t leave me behind!”

“When there are five allies, there’s bound to be one trash among them.”

“Nice knowing you.”

“Hey, get off our ship.”

“This is a matter of Wakamo’s weight, so it’s not FOX Team’s fault, understood?”

“How much time do you guys even spend on the forums?!”

“Boss!!”

Seeing Wakamo expressing her frustration as her team moved further away, Ichigo called out to her and rolled a bottle towards her feet.

The Excitement Potion shattered, releasing a red smoke that caused the pursuing monsters to enter a state of Confusion, attacking and biting each other.

“Simply amazing!! She’s dragging along an Orc Fighter, a Corrupted Dwarf Sniper, and even a Taurus without slowing down at all—Wakamo Inarizushi!”

“Such explosive force! Such endurance! She’s practically a locomotive!”

Despite teasing and mocking her, the agents’ accuracy while firing from sliding positions was remarkable.

Without a single shot grazing Wakamo, they precisely struck and dislodged only the monsters clinging to her.

Ichigo then blew away the head of a hidden monster with a shotgun just as it targeted the agents.

With two pistols drawn from her waist, she fired rapidly, revealing and dropping other invisible monsters in midair.

“[Hajime Ichigo! The mission zone isn’t far now! The shortest path is to go around—]”

“No—too far.”

The shortcut required passing through an area teeming with invisible monsters. Moreover, large monsters, comparable in size to cars, were starting to fill the skies.

“Split up!”

The command was brief.

Three agents instantly launched grenades, flinging a car forward, while the agent serving as Ichigo’s sled offered her a quick piggyback, standing up to start shooting from a seated position.

Vwoosh─!!

A truck soared over their heads.

Astonishingly, Wakamo had thrown it herself and was now riding on it as it flew overhead. She crouched and extended her hands.

“Can you manage?”

“Of course, I’m a pro.”

Unicorn, the agent carrying Ichigo, easily lifted her and threw her to Wakamo, who caught her in her hands and quickly passed her backward. In midair, Ichigo spun and threw a Rapid Metal Transformation Potion.

Upon hitting a car, the potion turned it into spikes, which Wakamo shielded herself against, stopping the sliding agents and then tossing each one into the air like Ichigo.

All agents retrieved their Feather Fall Potions from their belts. Smashing the potions against their helmets reduced their fall speed.

To deter the flying monsters charging toward them, Ichigo scattered Blind Moth Powder. The creatures lost their vision mid-flight, colliding and falling as they tangled together. To prevent any further pursuit, Ichigo generously scattered Magma Fire Powder, an expensive item she’d bought with no expense spared.

Bullets from above pierced through the monsters.

Using her Transmutation Synthesis Gloves, she gripped her own steel spikes, creating a foothold through Alchemy – Metal Transformation.

Finally, with a Concrete Expansion Potion, she crafted a stone, landing on it as she rolled and stabilized herself.

Monsters that made contact with the Magma Fire Powder transformed into lava as they fell, igniting. Following up, Ichigo threw a Molten Lava Potion, turning the ground below into complete magma, causing the pursuing monsters to melt away with anguished screams.

“Go, go, go!!”

With just a finger pointing the way, Ichigo signaled her agents, who cleared a path of monsters charging at her.

“Kieek!!”

Ichigo blasted the head of a monster emerging from the opposite wall with a shotgun, landing atop its headless body before leaping onto a car. Following her shortcut over buildings, the agents leapt down as their potion effects lingered.

“[Target confirmed! It’s the King Triple-Headed Ogre!! Each of its three heads can use magic, and it’s three times stronger than a regular Ogre, being an Elite Boss—handle it carefully as it can destroy buildings with ease!]”

The King Triple-Headed Ogre, resting on the collapsed Tower, awoke to the scent of humans, slowly rising.

Sss─

Ichigo lit the fuse and threw a stick of dynamite. With a loud bang, the dynamite spiraled toward the Ogre’s face, exploding on contact. Although it caused no real damage, the assorted powders attached to it took effect.

Unaware, the Ogre inhaled deeply, breathing fire from its mouth, its tongue freezing, and its vision blinding. Roaring in frustration, it let out a furious bellow.

“This isn’t Wakamo’s singing stream?”

“Tolerable, though?”

“Sorry, but we won’t be able to stick around with you any longer!”

“Our boss sings really well─!!”

“““Yes, sir!!”””

The agents responded with military discipline to their fuming leader’s clear shout. Ichigo stayed put, and the agents, despite the Ogre charging at them, stood their ground, unleashing a relentless hail of bullets. Even grenade blasts had no effect. Their weaponry was limited in scale—and naturally, this was a high-level boss.

“Uwooo!!!”

Vwoosh─!

The Ogre raised a piece of the Tower, ready to crush them with it when explosions rained down on its head.

“Did you know how to use a rocket launcher?”

“I read the manual.”

Wakamo burst through a shattered wall, throwing aside the rocket launcher and kicking an ammo crate of unknown origin.

From man-sized machine guns to more rocket launchers.

But what was truly overwhelming were the missiles.

Viewers watching probably exclaimed, “Where did she even get that?!” as Wakamo casually tossed it, precisely striking the King Triple-Headed Ogre.

Despite the impact, the Ogre trudged forward through the smoke, taking a step closer, only to stumble as it fell to its knees on the melting ground, unleashing lightning from its mouth.

In a flash, Wakamo intercepted the lightning with an Elite Heartsteel Golem shield of solid steel.

The Ogre’s flaming breath and the mana breath from another head surged toward the red-hot steel shield with the intent to melt it down.

But.

Bang─!!

The King Triple-Headed Ogre, with one of its eyes smashed by a shot from Ichigo’s sniper rifle, clutched its head in agony.

It attempted to hurl a piece of the Tower with its other hand, but Wakamo intercepted it mid-air, lifting it instead.

“One Million Ton Smash!!!!”

With a superhuman blow, she swung the small building, decapitating all three of the Ogre’s heads simultaneously. Blood spurted as it convulsed, refusing to die even in this state, leaving Ichigo and the agents stunned.

Wakamo, hovering above the Ogre, plummeted down onto it.

The road collapsed, buildings sank inwards as if consumed by the earth.

The Ogre, with its three heads completely obliterated, lay silent, unable to even groan.

Wakamo threw her head back, sweeping her hair aside as she struck a pose.

“What a magnificent view.”

Standing atop the Ogre’s corpse, she gazed out over the cityscape.

From the entire Gwanak District, streams of monsters surged like swarms of ants, and Wakamo watched in awe.

The agents stood silently beside her, acting as guards around Ichigo.

Time passed.

[A 50-story Tower appears in Seoul’s Gwanak District!]

Along with the familiar alarm, a new Tower rose from where the old one had collapsed.

The darkness of the sky began to lift, and as the light emanated from the Tower, the monsters attacking them turned transparent like mirages and disappeared. Even the Ogre Wakamo had been standing on vanished, leaving only the scorched cityscape behind.

The warm sunlight made the scene feel vastly different.

From Geumcheon District to Gwanak District.

“Mission Clear, Hajime Ichigo.”

“[As expected of the FOX Team, well done. Prepare for extraction.]”

A helicopter soared over their heads.

The FOX Team grabbed onto the rope ladder, rising into the sky.

The scene faded into the credits.

Starting with the 3D CG Team, the Filming Team, the Lighting Team, Lighting Cranes, and a long list of CAST members, art team, props team, costume team, and music director—an endless scroll of names passed by, almost like a receipt. Finally, the screen displayed the codenames of the four agents and Wakamo Inarizushi, before the screen briefly went dark.

Then, Hajime Ichigo, the Apocalypse Survival Expert, appeared in large letters.

With the message Survival Success!,

[BATTLEFIELD: Seoul Recaptured – Mission Clear] appeared, and the screen brightened.

We see Wakamo and Ichigo exhausted from the war, gnawing on shawarma.

An agent, with the Unicorn emblem on their chest, then bursts through the door.

“Ready, cowboy?”

“It’s about time…”

To Be Continued

The post-credits scene teasing the next chapter smoothly rounded off this impactful 1 hour and 30-minute film, which condensed two chapters. Viewers found themselves clapping unconsciously, before realizing that this wasn’t a Korean film—it was a VTuber membership broadcast, slapping their foreheads in disbelief.

Did they actually mobilize this many people to film this? Is this really a massive VTuber production? Did the government genuinely invest heavily in this?

Checking the credits again, viewers noticed familiar names and laughed off their doubts, thinking, “As if they would really try to [Recapture Seoul].”

“[With the help of a mysterious Climber, we successfully recaptured parts of Seoul, with support from the President──]”

Breaking news on live broadcast announced that Gimpo Tower’s collapse was suppressed, and Geumcheon and Gwanak districts were reclaimed. For the first time in a decade, Seoul, long left abandoned, had been recovered, and the Tower restored.

Journalists bombarded the Chairman with questions about the mysterious Climber who helped recapture Seoul, but he merely smiled knowingly.

“[Only our esteemed President would know. I’m just glad the first step of the Seoul Recapture Operation was successful.]”

The Chairman lied shamelessly without even blinking, leaving viewers rewinding the video to see Ichigo entering Seoul through Geumcheon District. They wanted to say so much, but when the Chairman insisted the Climber’s identity was a state secret, everyone burst into laughter.

[Title: Who is the Mysterious Climber?]

Who could be the Climber that broke through Geumcheon District and defeated the collapsed Tower boss in Gwanak?

Is there any Climber capable of defeating the King Triple-Headed Ogre?

Could someone really navigate through that monster-infested, contaminated area?

Who could handle a place that even fighter jet bombardments couldn’t resolve?

(Photo of the Flag of Solidarity displayed in a museum)

Ah…Secret Agent…Captain Korea…Hawk China…Is it you?

We worship the G.O.A.T…

People who keep the heavy atmosphere light…

People who seem like they’re definitely active in forums…

People who elevate the main character as supportive roles…

Professionals who turn even the host into a comedy bell.

More than just tactical, it’s a joyful experience.

– No room for seriousness at all.

– It seems they can’t help but throw in comedic lines.

– What’s with abandoning Wakamo halfway LOL.

– Too heavy, no other choice…

– Even with muscles that can throw missiles, the ice is still a challenge.

– Poor host couldn’t even ride the sled…

– The agent who got to be Ichigo’s sled must be rewarded, right?

– Hey, keep it together…

– I get that you’re jealous…but where did Unicorn hide…

(GIF of Unicorn getting excited seeing a maiden)

Thanks to the successful Seoul Recapture, South Korea was in an unprecedented celebratory mood. With the Complete Conqueror possessing 20 layers to clear, there was much joy; and now, with the partial recovery of Seoul’s territory, the country was ecstatic.

The President, deprived of any chance to claim credit, was left to stifle his frustration as the situation had been handled swiftly.

Wakamo even donated the Flag of Solidarity used in independence movements to a museum, leaving no room for criticism.

All he could say was, “Didn’t they acquire an Artifact by conquering the Complete Conqueror layer?” trying to accuse them of rigging things, but the Tower only grants items befitting the Class. Artifacts are typically awarded when there’s nothing else valuable for high-level Climbers, meant to suit them as closely as possible.

To put it bluntly, Artifacts are often considered bad luck among Climbers.

Naturally, many assumed the Tower recognized Wakamo’s belongings and transformed them into items. After all, there are people who’ve had their personal belongings acknowledged by the Tower and turned into items.

If they were to pick a representative, it would likely be the vehicles Driver favored.

The worst would be the Collector. Among the Artifacts he’s collected are items with menacing powers.

If Wakamo knew, she’d complain, “Why is he so lucky? Is it Class discrimination?” at such a level.

Even within the Artifact-grade, performance varies drastically.

“Truly magnificent, Your Excellency.”

An anonymous agent and unidentified Climber—no information about who conquered Seoul was provided by the Chairman. Claiming not to know, he retorted, “That was all filmed,” as Won Da-hye mocked the Assemblyman while responding, asserting that it was a massive production shot with Wakamo’s accumulated wealth and Complete Conqueror-level resources, without using any taxpayer money.

When she subtly hinted to look forward to the next membership broadcast, the expressions on the Assemblyman and President’s faces darkened, though they were the ones who had started this fight.

“So, what’s the plan for the next broadcast, Manager Won Da-hye?”

Seeing their defeated expressions, the Chairman asked her with a smile.

She scratched her head, looking uncertain, and answered that she didn’t know how well it would go.

“It’s only natural to hire new VTubers since it’s a corporate business… but I’m not sure.”

Wakamo, after kicking out both the supplies and people, shut herself in, claiming she’d focus entirely on her VTuber broadcast for a while to calm her mind.

Being such an exceptional figure, she couldn’t avoid being entangled in complex situations, whether she liked it or not.

She had succeeded in her membership broadcast and even gained an upper hand politically, but it seemed she was growing distant from her relationships.

It was a significant loss, but an inevitable one.

“So why are you hesitating?”

“I think I’ll have to announce that we’re bringing in a new member…”

The Chairman of the Japanese Association had sent over the Fist King’s daughter, who was currently waiting in Korea to meet Wakamo. She was so eager that she’d even agreed to become a VTuber if it meant working alongside Wakamo.

“She’ll probably be displeased about us proceeding without her consent, right?”

Feeling resigned to take on the role of the scapegoat, Manager Won Da-hye gloomily announced the debut of a new VTuber on the Wakamo Corporation account.

─A Navy-themed VTuber named Mare Pirate would be joining.

As soon as she heard the news, Wakamo bolted out of her hideaway.

She’d only been holed up to catch up on all the VTuber content she missed during the filming.

“Gotta get clips of the new VTuber──!!!”

Seeing Wakamo dash over on all fours, unable to contain her excitement over the VTuber debut announcement, the manager smacked her forehead in a different kind of exasperation.
