Chapter 13: Have You Slept with Him?
That night, I didn’t go home.
I curled up on a bench in the hospital and slept through the night.
When I woke up the next day, I had a high fever.
My phone had been silent all night; Fu Mingyu hadn’t called me even once.
“Senior Brother…” Sitting on the bench, I called my senior. “About going abroad, I’ve thought it over.”
“Xi Xi, you have a cold?” Wu Feng, likely hearing something off in my voice, asked worriedly.
“Yes, I got caught in the rain yesterday and now have a bit of a cold.”

There was no difference.
I folded the kind person’s coat neatly and placed it, along with the two steamed buns, in a clean spot.
If that kind person returned, they would probably take it away.
I leaned against the wall and walked a few steps. I felt movement behind me. When I turned around, I saw a tall, thin figure in a hood flash by.
Without thinking much, I walked straight out of the alley and flagged down a taxi.

When I returned to the Fu residence, Fu Mingyu was there.
“Mingyu, where’s Xi Xi? Why hasn’t she come back yet? She didn’t come back last night either.” Aunt Fu was somewhat worried.
“She’s grown up. Can she die just like that?” Fu Mingyu was displeased.
I stood outside the door, watching Fu Mingyu’s impatient demeanor, and sighed.
“Miss Xi Xi, someone is outside looking for you. They say they are called Wu Feng, your senior.” The housekeeper came over and told me.
I was taken aback and ran outside.
Why had Senior Brother come?
“Senior Brother…” I reached the door and saw Wu Feng waiting with medicine in hand.
“I brought you some cold medicine.” Wu Feng smiled.
I was somewhat grateful and reached out to take the medicine.
“Our Fu family isn’t so poor that we need you to deliver cold medicine.” From behind, Fu Mingyu’s voice was cold.
I didn’t know when he had come out, but as he approached, I tensed up all over.
“Fu Mingyu, Xi Xi has a cold. There’s no need for you to be so sharp-tongued.” Wu Feng frowned.
“Hmph, she has a cold. What does it have to do with you? What are you to her? Why are you so concerned? Have you slept with her?” Fu Mingyu deliberately disgusted me.
I looked at Fu Mingyu with red eyes. “What does it have to do with you? Why are you talking to my friend like that…”
