Hunting one elf after another as I moved, I noticed they weren’t the kind of elves I imagined.
Unlike the rabbit elves I had encountered before, these grotesque monsters shrieked as they fought against Nika. However, they had no chance of winning.
Each swing of Nika’s claws felled trees and painted the forest with a grotesque display of blood, prompting me to avert my gaze and scan the surroundings. That’s when I saw something shiny.
“What’s that?”
As I moved closer to inspect the shining object, I found a small orb lying on the ground.
“What is this?”
【Elf Stone】
A treasure of the elf clan.
It’s clearly important, but why is it lying here? Also, shouldn’t there be some explanation of its use or effects?
Not knowing what it might do, I placed it in my inventory. Looking ahead, I saw Nika beaming at me, clearly signaling, “Praise me!”

With her radiant expression, Nika shouted, “We need to go that way!” as she led me deeper into the forest.
Soon, we stumbled upon a small village, where a massive, muscular elf stood waiting.
Despite the determination in its eyes, the contrast between its sharp gaze and the bow it held was striking.
In an instant, its form vanished as arrows began to rain down from all sides.
Nika shattered all the arrows at once, her presence disappearing momentarily before she reappeared in the distance. Her sharp claws had already turned the muscular elf into a skewer.
With a single strike, the elf was defeated, and Nika approached me holding something.
【Reward!】
“A reward? This?”
Nika handed me an item.

It might be a treasure map—or it might not.
So which is it?
The absurd description left me no choice but to store it in my inventory. After drinking another invisibility potion, Nika and I returned to the Gate, which was glowing brightly.
The light signified the Gate had been cleared. As we exited, the Gate behind us shrank rapidly before disappearing completely.
Standing outside was Hunter Cha Mi-rin, staring intently at my direction.
Even though I had taken the invisibility potion, her gaze felt as though she could see me. She whispered softly.
“I’ll take care of things here, so leave quietly.”
She was definitely talking to me. Why was she helping me?
…Could it be she likes me?
Quietly retreating, I resolved to repay her kindness someday and escaped the scene with Nika.

As we were transported to the Tower entrance, I unconsciously looked up at its immense size, feeling overwhelmed as always.
No matter how many times I see it, it never fails to take my breath away.

Scoffing at the Tower’s malicious difficulty, I moved forward with Nika until the towering figure of a Magic Golem came into view.
These weren’t mere toys compared to the ones I’d encountered before—they were colossal and intimidating.
Man, if those combined into a transforming robot, it’d look so cool.
“Nika.”
At my call, Nika transformed into her massive form and swung her claws.
