I Possessed a Villainess in a Constellation Novel, But the S-Class Companions Are Obsessed with Me Chapter 7

Chapter 7

“Sorry, Sister. It’s all because of me… Are you really okay?”

The sand in the hourglass was slipping away endlessly, leaving very little time left.

Ignoring the increasingly desperate pleas from other people, I hurriedly made my way in the direction of those I had seen earlier.

“It’s fine. Let’s just look a little bit longer, Lyria.”

Even though I was starting to get anxious too…

Just as I began to wonder if I really had no choice but to join forces with anyone I could find, I heard a voice in the distance that I remembered well.

“Why do you keep following me?”

“In a world like this, it’s hard to find someone as good as you.”

One voice was endlessly cold and indifferent, while the other was warm and gentle.

Thank goodness. They’re together.

“This way, Lyria!”

I immediately grabbed Lyria’s hand and rushed over to where the voices were coming from.

“Hey, you two don’t have a team yet, do you?”

Two pairs of eyes turned to look at me as I approached in a hurry. I found them. My Plan B!

[Xenon]

[Constellation: Master of the Black Star]

[Stigmata: Dragon’s Song]

[Stigmata: Swordsmanship]

[Trait: Master of Ten Thousand Swords]

[Yeriel]

[Constellation: The Abandoned Child]

[Stigmata: Tricolor Blossom]

[Trait: Goodwill]

“I’ve been looking for you both.”

These two were the new comrades who would help carry on my story.

“Were you speaking to us?”

“Who said you could decide we’re your allies? You’ve been following us like it’s your right.”

Yeriel tilted his head with a gentle smile, while Xenon’s expression remained blunt and indifferent. I responded with a bright smile and nodded.

I don’t know how such polar opposite personalities ended up together, but it worked out well for me.

‘Saves me a lot of effort.’

“That’s right. With time running out, don’t you think it’s time to form an alliance, the two of you?”

Xenon’s irritating attitude did bother me, but…

His stats were too good to just kick him away.

I wasn’t sure what kind of constellation the “Master of the Black Star” was, since it wasn’t in the original novel.

But it’s not just any star; it’s called the “Master of the Star,” which means it must be a high-level being.

Most importantly, despite being in the early stage, his stats were already at superhuman levels.

“What are you staring at?”

And, to top it off, he was quite good-looking.

With his well-defined features and sleek, dark hair tinged with a faint blue hue—like the night sky—it was easy to mistake him for the male lead.

His well-built body and fair skin could capture anyone’s attention.

Why didn’t a character with such looks and abilities appear in the original story?

Could he have been eliminated during this initial team-building mission?

“It’s true that time is running out. And since no one else has asked us to team up…”

But the real jackpot was Yeriel.

Contrary to the cold, dark image of Xenon, Yeriel reminded me of the radiant morning sun.

Golden hair reminiscent of dawn, green eyes like fresh foliage, and a soft smile that perfectly matched his gentle voice.

He was the epitome of a warm-hearted male lead. And beyond that, his stats in magic and intelligence were off the charts, and his constellation was absurdly powerful.

“Do you really want to team up with us?”

Yeriel’s constellation was The Abandoned Child.

At first glance, it might seem like a lowly, insignificant constellation, but its true identity was Baridegi, a figure from Korean mythology.

The ancestor of all shamans and the first being to connect death, heaven, and humanity.

A deity of the highest order, ruling over life and death.

In the original, he was one of the final survivors, a key character with a significant role… but for some reason, the story seemed to have twisted, and he ended up with this constellation.

No matter—this works in my favor. Though I’m not sure about Xenon, Yeriel would definitely be on my side.

“Of course. I came all this way looking for you two.”

Something in my words must have struck a chord because Yeriel smiled brightly and extended his hand toward me.

I grinned as I took his hand.

“H-Hello. Nice to meet you.”

Lyria, who had been nervously watching from behind me, hesitated for a moment before greeting them.

Then, light enveloped the three of us, and a notification window appeared in the air.

[Your party has been formed.]

[Members:]

Wendy Porcelain
Lyria Porcelain
Yeriel

I glanced at Xenon, who was staring at me with wary eyes.

“There’s not much time left. Are you just going to stand there like an idiot and die?”

His expression twisted in a scowl at my words.

But with the hourglass showing less than ten percent of the sand left, what other options did he have?

“Trust me, we can be of much greater help than you think. We need to survive, don’t we? Dying in this wretched world is the dumbest way to go.”

He seemed like the type with an immense sense of pride and deep-seated caution.

But that also meant he was someone who’d despise the thought of dying a helpless death.

“Damn it…”

The scowl on his face deepened at my words.

His furrowed brows and annoyed gaze seemed to reflect his irritation at the idea of being dragged around by a situation he couldn’t control.

But what else could he do?

Grumbling under his breath, he reluctantly reached out and grabbed my hand, almost as if he was being forced into it.

“Wendy Porcelain.”

“Xenon.”

It seemed like he knew there wasn’t much choice left, so he joined the party without much resistance.

[A party member has joined. Member: Xenon]

But wait a second…

We were missing one person.

“Um, wasn’t there another person with you earlier?”

I distinctly remembered seeing a boy about Lyria’s age with them…

Where did he go?

He even had a constellation of quite a high rank with him…

“He went off with his twin sister to look for her. Maybe we’ll meet again if it’s meant to be?”

Yeriel’s calm response, accompanied by a bright smile, left me wide-eyed.

“What did you say?!”

“Oh, come to think of it, we needed five members, right?”

…This is bad.

I turned to look at the hourglass in a panic.

There was barely any sand left, maybe zero percent at this point.

“Why are you telling me this now?!”

My Plan B was about to go down in flames right from the start.

My face turned paler than a sheet of paper as I frantically scanned the surroundings.

As expected, almost everyone had already formed teams, leaving only a few people scrambling around.

‘Two people over there, three people there…’

But no one was left alone.

I hadn’t accounted for this.

With so little time left, of course there wouldn’t be any stragglers.

KimWawaw (hapxxx): Looks like it’s over.

  ㄴRomanceFan (pogxxx): For real, lol.

Junyoung (junxxx): Thank you for following along with the 312-day survival journal.

ㄴPossessionTruckDriver (hdssaxxx): Please change the title to ‘The 3-Day Survival Journal.’

Enoch (asdxxx): A legend has ended…

[You have received favor from 3 observers.]

[Total favor: 5]

I bit my lip as I glared at the comment section that kept popping up with notifications.

‘It’s not over yet, you jerks.’

— [Attention, everyone. One minute left until the team-building phase ends. Please complete your team formation if you haven’t done so already.]

Elistine’s voice echoed throughout the hall.

Those who had already formed their teams sat around leisurely, discussing the upcoming mission.

Those who hadn’t managed to complete their teams either lay on the ground, having given up, or ran around frantically like beasts with their tails on fire.

“Sister!”

Ignoring Lyria’s call, I pushed through the bustling crowd and spotted a scrappy-looking boy all alone nearby.

He seemed to be around Lyria’s age.

With an innocent face framed by ashen hair and empty gray eyes, he looked completely hollowed out.

‘I can see why no one’s teamed up with him.’

A large brand was stamped on the back of his hand.

The mark of a rose wrapped in chains, a symbol typically found on the lowest of slaves from the back alleys.

So that’s why no one wanted to team up with him.

Even among the nobles, not all were of the same standing, and the same applied to slaves.

Sadly, the boy seemed to have no will to live at all.

Even though he must have heard me approaching, he didn’t move an inch, lying there like discarded trash.

It was as if he believed he was just a worthless piece of junk, staring blankly into the void.

But the moment he reacted was when I suddenly grabbed his hand.

“You… You’re amazing.”

I gave him a bright smile before he could pull away from my grasp.
